Literature Teacher.

John is so grateful to join the HHCA community as the new middle school literature teacher! My wife, Kristin, teaches 2nd grade here at HHCA, and both of our daughters attend as students.  So now HHCA is truly a family affair!I have an MA and PhD in History from Southern Methodist University, as well as an MA in Teaching from MIssouri State University.  I have spent the last twelve years as a college classroom instructor and secondary teacher trainer.  In addition to feeling a call to serve the Lord as an educator, I am also an ordained Anglican minister.  I serve as the assisting priest at the Table Anglican Church, which our family helped to plant five years ago.  For fun, I enjoy playing board games with family and friends.  I also enjoy writing and reading.  Great literature affords us the opportunity to sit and be shaped in both heart and mind.  I am very excited to experience the power of story alongside seventh and eighth grade students at HHCA!
