Melissa Kimmons

Jr. Kindergarten Teacher. 

Melissa has been in education for over 17 years and continues to have a love of learning. She has taught 1st grade, Kindergarten, and PreK in public school, private school, and homeschool classrooms. Melissa has a passion for helping children develop their own love of learning and believes that the restful and meaningful ideals of Headington Hill are a wonderful way to lead children to a love of Christ and a desire for knowledge. Melissa is a Springfield native and enjoys spending time with her husband, Billy, and their three children – Jenson, Jasper, and Paige. Melissa and her family are involved in their church and enjoy spending time with friends and family whenever they can. Melissa loves to create through embroidery and cross-stitch, but you may more often find her with a good book in hand and her sweet puppy, Lucy, on her lap.
