Linda Michaliszyn

 Jr. Kindergarten Teacher. 

My name is Linda Michaliszyn and I am thrilled to be teaching Jr. Kindergarten this year at Headington Hills Academy.  My degree is in Early Childhood Ed. from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago.  I am originally from Chicago.  We moved to Springfield 14 years ago when my husband accepted a position as a Chaplain.  We have 4 grown children with our first grandchild on the way! My experience includes directing inner city child care centers, and Kindergarten thru 2nd grades. While teaching in Chicago, my husband and I planted and pastored three churches.  Ministry has been a part of my life since I was 14 years old.  Teaching Sunday School, leading Vacation Bible Schools, summer programs, leading youth groups, women’s ministries and various bible studies.  When we moved to Springfield, I directed a Christian organization that assisted young families in need by providing child care, and a variety of social services as well as connecting them to local churches. The last few years I have been teaching Pre-K in a school in our area.
