Adam Whitaker

Chess Instructor.

Adam is also an ELA teacher at Sparta Middle School. He is a local tournament director with the United States Chess Federation and is also on the board of directors of the Missouri Chess Association. In his free time, he helps organize the Springfield, MO. Chess Club, the area’s longest-running chess club. Adam founded and runs the Southwest Missouri Scholastic Chess League which schedules 3 tournaments each semester for area schools. He is excited to bring chess to HHCA students.
